Qi Gong, integral part of the
Traditional Chinese Medicine, means training
of the vital energy, it is a body of statistical and
dynamic techniques which harmonize body, breathing
and thought.
The
aim is to allow, keep and develop the free flow of
the energetic
stream (Qi) inside our body. According
to the Chinese Medicine, when, for any reason, this
stream stops, there is a imbalance that causes a
more or less serious illness. The Qi Gong teaches
us to feel and understand
how we work: when and how we open or close
the energetic channels of the body. The Qi Gong can
be practiced either by healthy people to improve the
psychophysical power and prevent the beginning of
pathologic processes, or by sick people to improve
the possibilities of self-cure and support
the total recovery of the functions of the ill organ
and of the organism; when it is practiced by sick
people the exercises become specific and the Qi Gong
become Curative Qi Gong.
Millenary practise, suitable for people of any age,
it is used in China in many hospitals and schools
and is a subject of scientific research in many Universities.
In Italy it begins to be used as support therapy at
same public structures.
HOW
TO KEEP A GOOD STATE OF HEALTH?
IS
THERE A GOOD WAY TO RECOVER FROM AN ILLNESS?
It
is hard to find a satisfying answer to these questions.
Illness makes us disarmed in front of weakness. Sense
of impotence and passivity develop a behaviour that
makes us to delegate to others the responsability
of our health, expropriating us from our
best ally: ourselves.
But our organism has a long wisdom: each cell "knows"
what to do. Our
workshops want to be an help to activate the body's
"self-cure power",
to understand the illness and transforming it in new
opportunities, to find again trust and hope in life.
